Caretta Buggy

Caretta Buggy is an Adaptive Stroller designed for transporting children and young people between 130cm and 160cm (4'3" - 5'3") tall. The wheelchair facilitates everyday care for people who are not able to move and sit correctly without aid. While designing this new stroller for young people, we had in mind our philosophy that the correct sitting position is essential for the stimulation of psychomotor development, and that the ability to move comfortably and safely in the open space has a huge positive influence on both the patients and their carers. We made sure that the stroller for young people Caretta Buggy is easy to use and above all, provides the best child's stabilisation during transport.

Features

Caretta Buggy provides excellent stabilisation of the passenger's upper body. The chest side supports, 5-point safety harness, a vest and straps stabilising the pelvis enable correct and comfortable transporting of the user, while passive correction of posture defects is maintained. As seat system experts working with young children in many rehabilitation centres, we are well aware of how important head stabilisation is during transportation. Therefore Caretta Buggy features a new headrest system that ensures the head is stabilised in a comfortable and safe position. The height of the head side supports is adjustable.

Thanks to the special construction of the seat, which consists of elastic straps, it is possible to adjust the hardness of the seat. The seat tilt is also adjustable, and the bucket seat position is available.

The foldable frame of the buggy allows for quick folding. The compact size after folding makes it easy to transport the stroller in the boot of a family car, because we understand that every person needs to travel.
